Armada Bookings, the official bookings agency of the award-winning record label Armada Music, has kicked off. The agency, working together closely with AT’s booking division Extended Music, kicks off with DJ’s Antillas, Alexander Popov and Ruben de Ronde. Armada Bookings is also responsible for the Armada Night events, the successful club experience which has taken place and sold out in more than 20 different countries across the globe.

Next to building an artist’s career through music exploitation and the management division of Armada Music Management, Armada Music now also stimulates the DJ side of the artists. The close relationship of Armada Bookings with the record company offers great opportunities for both parties. The infamous Armada Night concept, which had its own stage at Ultra Music Festival in Buenos Aires and Santiago earlier this year, can also be booked via Armada Bookings. Mr. Polska signs for follow up of ‘Waardevolle Gezelligheid’

After the successful launch of Mr. Polska’s debut album ‘Waardevolle Gezelligheid’ in 2012, the label Nouveau Riche Music will also release the debut album of the successful rapper Jebroer from the Dutch city of Leiden. In addition, Mr. Polska’s second album will also be released on the label. Nouveau Riche Music expects to release both albums in Fall of 2013.

Nouveau Riche Music is the joint music label of Boaz Van De Beatz and AT Productions. Past years, Boaz won multiple State Awards for ‘Best Producer of the Nederlands’ and received prizes for ‘Best Group’, ‘Best Live Act’ and ‘Best Music Video’ with the collective Nouveau Riche.

Action-Adventure Kon-Tiki in Cinemas 4 April 2013!

The historic story of the Norwegian explorer Thor Heyerdahl, who crossed the Pacific Ocean in 1947 on a hand-made raft, has been made into a fascinating action-adventure film. Kon-Tiki was nominated for an Oscar and a Golden Globe Award and will arrive in Dutch theaters on April 4.

Aside from an English version, directors Joachim Roenning and Espen Sandberg (‘Max Manus’ amongst others) have filmed a Norwegian spoken version of the movie. The Norwegian version premiered in Norway in August 2012, attracting a record number of almost one million visitors. Converted to Dutch terms, this would cover about three million visitors! Thor Heyerdahl filmed a documentary about his journey himself in 1947, and won an Oscar with the film. In addition, Heyerdahl wrote a book about his voyage, which has sold over 50 million copies translated into 70 different languages, all over the world.

Within Temptation unviels first dates world tour

After announcing the release of their new studio album set in the fall of 2013, Dutch Symphonic Rock band Within Temptation is now unveiling the first tour dates of their worldwide album tour, starting off in January 2014. France, the United Kingdom and Germany are the first three countries the band will be visiting for 17 shows. Within Temptation will perform at major venues such as Le Zenith in Paris, Wembley Arena in London, and Columbiahalle in Berlin. Ticket sales will start on Friday, March 1 2013.

Two years after releasing their latest album “The Unforgiving” touring the world and celebrating their 15-years-anniversary with the exclusive “Elements” show, the band around front woman Sharon den Adel recently announced to be working on a new album which is due to be released in fall 2013. In January and February 2014, Within Temptation will hit the stage with a complete new spectacular show. “We are looking forward to sharing where the writing process has taken us. We are excited about performing these new songs live! We hope to announce more dates soon”, says den Adel.

Within Temptation announces new album

The Dutch Symphonic Rock band Within Temptation has announced to be working on a new album. After celebrating their 15-years-anniversary with an exclusive show in a sold out Antwerps Sportpaleis, the band started writing new material.

For this release, Within Temptation has found a new partner in BMG Rights, with whom the band expects to release an album in autumn of this year. The band’s announcement can be found on the official website of Within Temptation.

Headed towards their 15-years-anniversary concert, the Dutch Symphonic Rock Band Within Temptation recorded a different cover for Q-Music every week during fall of last year. For 15 weeks, the band recorded a well-known song with the characteristic Within Temptation sound.

Just a few days before the holidays, front woman Sharon den Adel presented the last cover: “The Power of Love”, originally by Frankie Goes to Hollywood.

The band has covered songs from Adele, Coldplay, Gotye, David Guetta, Lana del Rey, Mumford & Sons and Passenger amongst others. A complete overview of all covers can be found on the official website of Within Temptation.

Barry Hay starts Flying V Formation

Barry Hay, front man of the Golden Earring, started a new rock act under the name “Barry Hay Flying V Formation” together with four young musical talents.

The band consists of guitarist Pablo van de Poel (DeWolff), keyboard player Jan Rooymans (The Earring), drummer Daim de Rijke (Taze Bitti), and electro bass player Huub van Loon (Sandy Dane), under the leadership of Barry Hay.

With an incredibly energetic live show, the band performs a stready repertoire consisting of Earring classics, newly arranged cover songs and brand new material. Barry Hay: “This is a suprising band, take it from me! We are going to blow you away!”

Within Temptation celebrates 15-years-anniversary in sold out Sportpaleis

On Tuesday November 13th the Dutch symphonic rock band Within Temptation played a one-time-only anniversary show in a sold out Antwerps Sportpaleis. The band celebrated its 15-years-anniversary since the release of the first album ‘Enter’.

Fans from over 50 countries had travelled to Belgium to witness the unique show of the band around front woman Sharon den Adel. Accompanied by the Il Novecento Orchestra and the Fine Fleur choir, the band performed a spectacular show with several guest appearances.

The band played a large selection of the versatile repertoire of the last 15 years and a number of cover songs the band recorded for Q-Music over the last few weeks. In the upcoming weeks, Q-Music will continue presenting a number of new cover songs in the distinctive Within Temptation style.
