Since 1999, Kane haven taken their home country, the Netherlands, by storm. Straight from the beginning Kane have gained frequent and heavy airplay at all of the major radio and music television stations. The band have scored numerous number 1 positions in the Dutch chart lists and have sold over 1 million albums and DVDs to date. They have received numerous awards such as MTV Awards, TMF awards, Top of the Pops, Edisons and 3FM awards. Kane also have a long history of selling out shows in massive venues such as the Amsterdam ArenA, De Kuip, Strand van Almere, ADO Den Haag stadium, Heineken Music Hall and the Malieveld. This year Kane released their first ‘best of’ album entitled ‘Singles Only’, and performed all 24 singles in order of release at three sold out ‘Singles Only’ shows in the Ahoy Arena . Kane have become one of the most successful bands in Dutch history.
