Dennis is the nickname of Denise van Donselaar, a young singer with extraordinarily talent and a beautiful strong voice. She composes and writes music and excels with her kick ass band on stage with an unique and energetic performance.
The career of Dennis develops in rapid speed. Music channel TMF quickly recognized her talent and gave Dennis a spot on the programme ‘TMF kweekvijver’ which aims at launching new talent. This resulted in a performance at the TMF Awards in 2006 where she played her debut hit single ‘No Can Do’.
Meanwhile the international sound of her record, which is also the consequence of working on the album in Sweden, has made a lot professional musicians and radio stations very enthusiastic . Also radio station 3FM was impressed and added her first single directly to their playlist. Dennis also won an Essent Award and played a very successful gig during the Noorderslag festival in Groningen.
Her second album ‘Blonde’ was released in 2010 and currently Dennis is busy working on a brand new album which will be released in 2012.
